Plagiarism Policy
Scientia Review – A Multidisciplinary E-Magazine for Scientific Insight is committed to academic integrity and strictly prohibits plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Plagiarism involves using others’ work, ideas, data, or text without proper citation. Reusing one’s own published content without acknowledgment is also unacceptable.
Manuscripts with over 15% similarity (excluding properly cited content) will be rejected. Authors must ensure originality, cite all sources accurately, and check for plagiarism before submission.
Author Responsibilities:
Authors are expected to ensure that the content of their submissions is appropriately cites all relevant sources. Prior to submission, it is the responsibility of the authors to::
- Perform a thorough plagiarism check using reliable plagiarism detection tools.
- Ensure that any borrowed content, whether text, tables, or figures, is properly credited and referenced.
- Avoid duplication of their own previously published material unless necessary, and if so, to clearly indicate it with proper citations.
A signed Author Agreement Form (available in the ‘Downloads’ section of the magazine website) is mandatory for all submissions.
Scientia Review retains the right to take corrective action in case of confirmed plagiarism, which may include retraction of the article, notification to the authors’ institutions, and disqualification from future submissions.
